Welcome to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ

May PEACE, LOVE, and JOY fill your homes and lives this Christmas season.

To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary.

To one without faith, no explanation is possible.

–St. Thomas Aquinas

No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here — to explore your faith, to meet new people, and to strengthen your personal relationship with God.

COVID-19: As we gather in the church sanctuary for corporate worship every Sunday, we will continue to observe the guidelines of the state and CDC by wearing masks and maintaining social distance. All events are dependent on current status of the virus locally and government guidelines regarding the COVID-19 virus. Please check our Facebook page for updates in case of cancellations.

LUNCH WITH THE BUNCH has been postponed until further notice.

Ladies’ Bible study is POSTPONED until the spring, depending on the Covid-19 situation.

The decision has been made to END the CHRISTIAN FRIENDS LUNCHEONS.  This was a difficult decision to make, but, given the ongoing concerns regrading Covid-19 and the age of the members attending the luncheons, it was time. Christian Friends Luncheons began in the spring of 2001 as a way for interdenominational Christian friends to come together. We have had many wonderful programs, good meals, and a great time of fellowship with each other over the years.

A special THANKS to St. Peter’s UCC for allowing us to meet all these years. Also, THANK YOU to Shirley Reitz and, later, Joyce London, who arranged for the many interesting and entertaining programs which were enjoyed over the years. THANK YOU to Shirley Reitz and, later, Nancy London, who acted as M.C., and to all the members who planned the menu each month and found a caterer. We will miss these gatherings of Christian Friends.
